Gilbert was more than a beloved companion to Aimee. Raised as the daughter of a veterinarian, she grew up with a deep respect for animals, and her rescue dog quickly became a dear friend. His sweet presence unexpectedly drew a large social following, bringing joy and inspiration far beyond his San Diego home—as he and Aimee advocated for a training philosophy rooted in compassion, patience, and understanding.
